An emergency repair is a problem that presents an immediate risk to health or safety, makes the home insecure, or could cause serious damage. We aim to attend within 24 hours to make the situation safe. Further work may be required to complete the repair.

If you smell gas, or suspect a gas or carbon monoxide leak, please phone the National Gas Emergency Helpline on 0800 111 999.
You should also:
Switch off all your gas appliances
Open all doors and windows to ventilate your home
Turn off the gas supply at the mains (there’s usually a large lever next to the gas meter)
Evacuate the property immediately and wait for advice from the emergency services.
Alert everyone in your home that there is an emergency. Leave quickly, closing doors behind you. Follow the evacuation plan of the building and exit at the nearest fire exit.
If there is smoke, crawl along the floor where the air will be clearer. Never use the lift in the event of a fire.
Once you’re safely outside, phone 999 for the fire brigade.
